The League of Women Voters of Wakulla is the newest chapter of the League of Women Voters of Florida, freshly created in June 2011. As an organization, we encourage informed and active participation in government, work to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.

We are strictly nonpartisan; we neither support nor oppose candidates for office at any level of government. At the same time, the League is wholeheartedly political and works to influence policy through advocacy. We are fundamentally a grassroots citizen network, directed by the consensus of our members nationwide.
